Privacy Policy

Introduction
Welcome to cyberorge.info. We value your trust and take your privacy seriously. This document explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Comments

When you comment, we log the information from the form, along with your IP and browser details, to protect the site from spam and abuse. If you use Gravatar, a coded string of your email may be sent to verify your profile. Learn more here: cyberorge.info/policy.html. Once your comment is approved, your avatar may appear next to it.

Media Uploads

Be careful not to upload files with embedded GPS or EXIF metadata, as other users can extract location details from such images.

Cookies

Cookies make your experience smoother. If you choose to save your name, email, or website while commenting, these will remain for a year. A session cookie checks if your browser accepts cookies and is deleted once you close it. Login cookies stay active for 48 hours, while display settings remain for a year. Using "Remember Me" extends login to 14 days. Editing a post stores a cookie with the post ID, which disappears after 24 hours.

External Content

Articles on this site may include embedded videos, images, or links. These act as if you visited the external resource directly, which may collect data or track your activity.

Data Sharing

If you reset your password, your IP address will be included in the email for security reasons.

Retention of Data

Comments and metadata are kept indefinitely to simplify future approvals. Users with accounts can access, edit, or delete their information at any time (username cannot be changed). Admins may also view and manage these details.

Your Rights

You can request an export of your personal data we hold or ask us to delete it, except where laws or security require retention.

Spam Protection

To maintain safety, we use automated spam filters for comments.
